ENGLISH HOMEWORK 24- 27 JANUARY 

MONDAY 24th. Reading:  Study these words definitions and write them twice.

affection: a feeling of tenderness, fondness, or love.

freezing: to harden because of the cold.

injury: harm or damage done to a person or thing.

messenger: one who delivers messages or runs errand.

climate: average weather conditions of a place or region.

Review the lessons: Grass Sandals, Scruffy, and Gluskabe and the Snow Bird.

TUESDAY 25th.

GRAMMAR: Study sentences using these words: sit, set, lie, lay, lend, borrow, lets, leave, teaches, learns. Write a sentence with each one.

Practice writing sentences using adjectives, comparative and superlatives of adjectives, proper adjectives, adverbs, negatives, and writing correct sentences.

WEDNESDAY 26th.

SPELLING: Study the meanings of these words: beach, cheerleader, sandwich, nephew, whispered, mistakes, holiday, fence, police,button, peach, thirty, coat, glove. Write a sentence with each one as a practice.

Write sentences with these words: compete, ignore, enough, thirsty, salad, tenth, barrel, canoe, waffles.  Study the January-February vocabularies from your Spelling notebook.

THURSDAY 27th.

Science: Study Evolution or Adaptation?, Respiratory or Endocrine, Learn at least 2 cases of applying first aid, 2 or 3 activities you can do to set fitness goals, 2 advices to be healthy for life. Study the Respiration and Photosynthesis processes.
